“This unfortunate girl suffered septic shock, i.e. multiple organ failure, all the organs have now stopped working. That’s why we had death,” said the president of EINAP.
“The girl has not been feeling well for the last few days and even took a leave of absence and stayed at home. That means if he went to a doctor, did some tests, he would see what’s going on. Unfortunately, he didn’t go, instead he just sat at home to rest. I believe he would have had some other symptoms as well”, Matina Pagoni stressed.
In fact, he underlined that, “we have to wait for the tests that have been sent to see which is the strong microbe that caused the septic shock”.
Finally, explaining the function of bacteria, he said that: “bacteria enter tissues, destroy cells and release toxins. These toxins create the whole situation in the various organs.”
