O BankingPagSeguro’s digital bank, released this Friday (25) data from a report that confirms a profit of BRL 415 million and net revenue of BRL 3.83 billion in the 2nd quarter of 2023. The document also reveals that the company ended the quarter with 29.5 million customers, adding 4.6 million customers in the last 12 months.
According to the company, in the 1st quarter of this year, customers transacted BRL 424 billion, which led to the mark of more than BRL 2 trillion in financial transactions processed in history. These figures confirm the service’s popularity in the Brazilian market through the high volume of purchases and shipments made by active users.
PagBank’s CEO, Alexandre Magnani, celebrated the achievement commenting that “we are on the right track to continue facilitating the financial lives of people and businesses in a simple, secure, digital and integrated way.”.
In August, the company had the brAAA rating assigned by S&P Global, placing PagBank with the highest rating among digital banks and similar to that of large banking institutions. The report highlighted the group’s consolidated position in the payment services sector, robust financial liquidity, high profitability and low leverage.
