The commander of the Pacific fleetAdmiral Víctor Liína, will direct this combined operational exercise that will last for two weeks, from June 5 to 20, and will include the participation of “more than 60 warships and auxiliaries, some 35 naval aircraft, coast guard units and more than 11,000 troops”, according to an official statement.
Tactical naval groups, together with naval aviation, will be trained in the detection of submarines and will carry out missile firing practice and artillery weapons once morest air and surface targets.
The exercise program will also include logistical tasks on the high seas and organization of the anti-aircraft defense of naval groups.
