Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne flee the United States because of violence

Earlier this year, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne announced they were moving back to the UK after living in the US for over 25 years. The couple first mentioned the cost of taxes to explain their departurebut in an interview with The Observerthe singer and his wife affirm that it is rather the tense climate and the violence which convinced them to leave.

“Everything is completely ridiculous. I’m tired of seeing people get killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot because of the school shootings. There was also this mass shooting during a concert in Las Vegas… it’s completely crazy!”, says Ozzy Osbourne

“I don’t want to die in the United States”, adds the singer, explaining that since he is British, he wishes to be buried in his native country.

“The country has changed drastically. It is no longer the United States at all. There is nothing united here. It’s a really strange place to live right now,” said Sharon Osbourne.
