WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A shutdown senior living facility in Wichita will reopen early next year under a new name. Oxford Senior Living reported its purchase of the Kansas Masonic Home should wrap up by the end of this year.
The Kansas Masonic Home, at 400 South Martinson, closed last December. A local nonprofit stepped up to help dozens of people following the sudden closure of the senior living campus. The renamed “Oxford Vista” will begin to take in residents shortly into the new year. The facility will start with 137 units, but the company plans to expand on campus and also partner with a nursing operator to expand care.
Oxford Senior Living also operates senior apartments and assisted living in west Wichita and a memory care facility in Derby.
