Overwatch is one of the shooter games that has revolutionized the video game industry the most. Despite the fact that today it no longer has the popularity that it initially had, it still has a large number of active players. In addition, its community remains expectant before the launch of “Overwatch 2”, a title that is being criticized since many believe that it is the same game but with more content. However, the game has recently entered into a controversy, since the Korean server account on Twitch was banned from the platform and the reason is still unknown.
Twitch banned Overwatch Korea account
It was a few days ago, specifically on March 24, that the followers of the Korean Overwatch account had realized that it was not available. As expected, this caused uncertainty and strangeness in the shooter community. However, what was even more surprising is that the account has been banned for five consecutive days and there is still no news or confirmation regarding it.
As expected, Overwatch haters took the opportunity to attack the game by mentioning something like this on social media:
They have not banned the account, it has simply died because it had no content to share
In addition, other attacks were added to the Blizzard game, mentioning that it should no longer exist due to its lack of content. However, let’s remember that soon the game will launch its “sequel”, criticized by many as they do not think it is the same title but with different content.
Now Blizzard will have to find a way to advertise their content and tournaments within Korea, since if the account remains banned they will not be able to broadcast through Twitch.
