Overwatch 2 and John Cena partner to promote the game’s new season

A release has appeared on some broadcasts of Overwatch 2 on Twitch, made in a fortified bunker, in which a hooded entity that claims to be just “The Enigma” appears. With a distorted voice, an alert is made regarding a threat of invasion scheduled to arrive in the game on August 10, at 4 pm.

Enigma’s identity was revealed in another live – with streamers like Shroud, Kyedae and Scump. The mystery person is none other than actor John Cena. In addition, a new trailer for the season was released. Watch in the player below:

According to John Cena, an unknown face carries a greater impact in warning of a global threat to come. He even admits to having fun with the fans’ attempt to find out who the entity would be.

“It was fun watching the Overwatch community trying to figure out Enigma’s identity. Sometimes a face you can’t see is just what the world needs to sound the alarm of an imminent global threat.”

Overwatch 2 can be played for free on Blizzard’s proprietary Battle.net platform. From the next August 10th, the game will also be available on Steam.
