But recently, a new vaccine-related side effect was reported by researchers at Kaohsiung University in Taiwan. According to them, the vaccine once morest Covid-19 might be the cause of urinary tract disorders. Their findings were published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine.

To arrive at this observation, they collected responses obtained through surveys published online. “Participation in this research was voluntary, therefore, the subjects did not receive any financial compensation or other incentives, which minimized information and selection bias”, specify the authors of this study.

Increased urge to urinate

In view of the results, 13.4% of respondents reported side effects concerning the urinary system. The majority of those affected mentioned an urge to urinate and an increased urge to urinate. Others have also reported incontinence following vaccination.

Recently, the National Medicines Safety Agency (ANSM) published an exhaustive list of possible adverse effects following vaccination once morest Covid-19 with Pfizer and Moderna. In addition to more classic consequences, she now mentions an overactive bladder.
