Manhattan: Filippo Bernardini has finally pleaded guilty to impersonating and stealing unpublished manuscripts from famous authors such as Margaret Atwood and Evan McEwan. He confessed to stealing more than a thousand unpublished manuscripts. Bernardini will be sentenced on April 5. May receive up to 20 years in prison. Since 2016, he has started stealing unpublished manuscripts through impersonation. The scam was done using fake e-mail addresses of well-known publishing houses.
