During the marathon “You are not alone”, which was held all day on June 12 by independent media in support of political prisoners in Russia, more than 34 million rubles were collected. This was announced by the hosts of the broadcast, the chairman of the board of directors of the international FBK, Maria Pevchikh, and the editor-in-chief of Dozhd, Tikhon Dzyadko.
At the end of the marathon, 34,357,137 rubles were collected. The money will be used to support political prisoners and their families.
The marathon was launched by independent media — Dozhd, Meduza, Mediazona, Important Stories, The Insider, Kholod, Popular Politics, Breakfast Show, and others. It lasted over 13 hours.

According to OVD-Info, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 19,718 people have been detained in Russia who opposed the war. 579 people became defendants in criminal cases. According to Mediazona’s estimates, 6,838 administrative cases have been opened under the article on “discrediting” the Russian army.
