This increases the number of active corona cases to 122,391. In the past 24 hours have been 90.076 neue PCR-Tests did. That makes one positive rate of 13.05 percent.
There is also 24 new deaths. So far Austria-wide 18,958 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection deceased.
In the hospital are current 1,489 people treated to 112 more than the day before. It’s in the intensive care units 90 patients, 14 more than the day before.
vaccinations
2,036 vaccinations were carried out on Monday. Of these, only 91 were first stitches, 172 were second stitches and 1,773 were third stitches. According to the data from the e-vaccination card, a total of 6.8 million people or 75.7 percent of the population have already received at least one vaccination. Almost 5.4 million people and thus 60.1 percent of Austrians have a valid vaccination.
The protection rate (valid vaccination certificate) is highest in Burgenland at 68.3 percent. In Lower Austria 63.8 percent of the population have a valid vaccination protection, in Styria 61.6 percent. After Vienna (58.4), Tyrol (58.1), Carinthia (57.2), Vorarlberg (56.6) and Salzburg (56), Upper Austria brings up the rear with 55.4 percent.
