Millions of dollars worth of jewelry en route to a gem display at the Convention in downtown Pasadena was stolen from an armored truck in northern Los Angeles County.

Among the stolen jewels, a 19 carat yellow gold necklace, with more than 100 carats of multicolored sapphires.

This necklace was one of the masterpieces of an exhibition in Los Angeles.
