Colombia had an outstanding participation in the Challenge Breaking Colombia 2024, with Los B-boy Colombianos Alvin, adult category and Kill Thiago, youth.
These were proclaimed champions in the BFG Challenge Series Breaking Colombia, which was held in Villa de Leyva, Boyacá.
The competition was held with the presence of national and international athletes.
In the adult male branch, B-boy Alvin, Jordan Medina, was proclaimed champion after beating fellow Colombian B-boy Ricky Rulez (Ricky Ordóñez) in the final.
The category podium was closed by B-boy Farex gangs (Colombia) after beating B-boy York (York Aguilar) in the fight for bronze.
Moving on to the youth men’s category, our country also took the first three places in the competition.
Challenge Breaking Colombia 2024
The B-boy Kill Thiago beat the -Bboy Breakman in the dispute for the gold, while the B-boy Lil Machine won the bronze medal.
In the adult female branch, the Colombian B-girl Luma (Luisa Tejada) obtained second place in the competition after the final she played with the Japanese B-girl Riko (Riko Tsuhako).
The Mexican B-girl Swami (Swami Rizzi) was the athlete who took third place after surpassing the Colombian B-girl Zue.
Riko was also champion of the youth women’s category after her victory in the final against the Ecuadorian B-girl Leona (Kerly Leona)
In this, the Venezuelan B-girl Layhonel (Keisy Rojas) obtained third place in the contest after surpassing the Colombian B-girl Skillgirl (Soffia Torres).
In this way, the international competition was held in Colombia, which is part of the world breaking ranking of the International Sports Dance Federation.
The event was held two years before the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.

**Interview with Alvin, Champion B-boy from Colombia**
**Editor:** Today, we have the honor of speaking with Alvin, one of the champions from the recently concluded Challenge Breaking Colombia 2024. Alvin, congratulations on your win! How does it feel to be crowned champion?
**Alvin:** Thank you so much! It feels incredible to win, especially in such a vibrant and supportive atmosphere. Representing Colombia on this international stage in Villa de Leyva and coming out on top is an experience I will cherish forever.
**Editor:** Alongside you, Kill Thiago also took home a championship title in the youth category. Can you tell us about the significance of this victory for both of you?
**Alvin:** Absolutely! It means a lot to both of us, not just personally, but for the entire Colombian breaking community. Our success showcases the talent and dedication that exists here in Colombia, and it encourages other young dancers to pursue their dreams.
**Editor:** The Challenge Breaking Colombia is part of the BFG Challenge Series. How important is this series for local and international B-boys and B-girls?
**Alvin:** The BFG Challenge Series is very important as it provides a platform for dancers to compete at a high level and gain exposure. It allows us to connect with international artists and learn from each other, which is vital for our growth and development in the breaking scene.
**Editor:** What has been the most challenging part of your journey in breaking?
**Alvin:** For me, the most challenging part has been remaining motivated during difficult times, especially with the physical and mental demands of training. However, the support from my community and fellow dancers has always lifted me up.
**Editor:** What’s next for you and Kill Thiago post this victory?
**Alvin:** We’re both looking forward to continuing our training and competing more internationally. We want to represent Colombia in the upcoming WDSF Breaking for Gold events and keep pushing our limits.
