Basically, the app allows you to capture and transform audio tracks with the help of an iPhone’s speakers and microphone. Featuring a series of creative resources, the software promises to promote the creation of unique and interesting sound experiences.
With Outsidify, you can capture practically any audio from the environment around you, whether it’s street noises, conversations, ambient music, etc. The app allows you to take advantage of the full potential of the devices’ microphone to capture impulse responses from practically any object or space — such as a cup of coffee.
After capturing, the user can easily transform the audio in a creative way with feedback, manipulation of resonances, resonant filters and even mix certain audio with some interesting ambient sound. It is even possible to synchronize the speed of recordings with the speed set on the player, in order to preserve the original tone.
Speaking of playback, Outsidify has an integrated player with powerful editing features, such as loops, start and end point adjustments, playback speed control (from ¼ to 4x) and trimming. You can also adjust the feedback and delay.
