Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm: Weeks before the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) takes place in May, the artists are traveling all over Europe to promote themselves and their contribution. At the so-called pre-parties, the ESC stars come together and let the fans celebrate them on stage.
Austria’s song contest starter, the singer Kaleen from Upper Austria, is currently traveling many kilometers for her international performances. The 29-year-old, who will compete in the second ESC semi-final in Malmö with her song “We will rave” on May 9th, will not only leave a lasting impression with her techno anthem. The outfits that Kaleen has worn at the parties so far have also been a topic of conversation.
Kaleen’s giant jacket
In Amsterdam, the singer and dancer recently wore a green military-style jacket with oversized, almost floor-length sleeves – and received many reactions to it on social networks. “The jacket is great! Love it!” or “This is what all my sleeves look like when I want to buy something at my height of 1.53 meters,” wrote users on Instagram.
The Upper Austrian presented herself in a similarly eye-catching manner at the ESC event in London – with an outfit from the Swiss fashion brand “donovan studio”. She was called the “Queen of Fashion” by fans.
Bra strap tore
However, the 29-year-old had an outfit mishap on stage at the “London Eurovision Party”: During the number, a strap of her glittery bra tore and Kaleen stood almost topless in front of the fans. “I guess I raved a little too hard,” she wrote followingwards, alluding to her song title.
Barbie-Girl
Our ESC star gave off Barbie vibes during her appearance in Madrid. The pink ensemble was tailored to her by star designer Marina Hoermanseder.
