Out of the way? KPCC disciplinary committee to take stern action

The KPCC disciplinary committee is ready to take stern action once morest those who lost in the assembly elections. The disciplinary committee headed by Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will take action following examining the reports of the five regional committees which studied the election defeat. The KPCC leadership handed over the reports to the disciplinary committee.

The KPCC leadership is of the view that stern action should be taken once morest those who openly and secretly plotted to defeat their own candidates in the Assembly elections. It is learned that K Sudhakaran has shared this sentiment with the disciplinary committee chaired by Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. As part of this, the disciplinary committee is examining the reports of the five regional committees that studied the election defeat. Thiruvanchoor said that he would send a notice to the accused and take immediate action. According to regional committees, former MLAs and senior leaders have lined up to defeat young Congress candidates. Candidate aspiring KPCC office bearers also came out on top. It was also recommended that stern action be taken once morest them. However, the KPCC did not take any significant action except sending a show cause notice to some. Indications are that there will be measures ranging from warnings to evictions depending on the crime committed once morest the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the disciplinary committee will also look into the actions taken by the leadership once morest the group leaders, citing anti-organizational activities. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan is of the view that those who are subject to action can approach the disciplinary committee directly.
