The participation of the Mexican singer Christian Nodal in the Mega Concert of the Bonita Fair in Bucaramanga was surrounded by confusion, denials and rumors in recent weeks.
However, the artist published a statement on Monday, September 5 through his Instagram account, in which he assured that “out of love and respect for his fans” he will perform in the capital of Santander on September 8, in the framework of the celebration of the 400 years of the city.
“After announcing in recent days that unscrupulous companies were selling Nodal dates without any type of authorization in Colombian territory, the artist’s Management team and representatives of the Government of Santander, the Mayor’s Office of Bucaramanga and Total Publicidad y Eventos SAS They approached directly with the sole purpose of reaching an agreement and thus being able to comply with the Bucaramanga public,” he says in the statement.
For his part, Nodal assured that “I have always said it, Colombia is my second home and I am grateful for the love of my fans, for this reason and despite this confusion due to all the commitments we have at this time for the Outlaw Tour in Mexico and the beginning of my tour in the United States, I will fulfill all my followers in Bucaramanga”.
W Radio revealed that among the agreements was to be able to get a flight on September 9 so that Cristian Nodal’s team can travel immediately to another scheduled presentation.
The unforeseen
On September 1, the Mexican singer Christian Nodal had confirmed through a press release that he would not be in the Ciudad Bonita.
Both Nodal and his firm of representatives assured that there was no contractual or legal link with any Colombian company for the hiring and programming of events with the singer.
Therefore, they assured that unscrupulous people had defrauded Colombian businessmen to sell Nodal’s participation in two specific concerts in Colombia.
