The managing director of the Saxon Fuel and Mineral Oil Trade Association, Sina Welsch (45), expects a run on the petrol pumps: “The discount is running out. I would also see that I take it with me and fill up my car properly once more at a cheaper price .”
Nicole Sinde (42) from the dynamo tank on Dohnaer Straße suspects that from Thursday a liter of diesel will cost around 2.20 euros and super 2.10 euros.
Because it has already become more expensive in the last few days, demand might be rather subdued. On Tuesday, like elsewhere in the region, there was normal tank traffic.
By the way: In the evening there was Super once more in Nossen. The tanker truck came shortly following 6 p.m. A spokeswoman for TotalEnergies explained: “Sometimes there are bottlenecks. In that case, the delivery was not made on time.”
