Through a guardianship action, three medical students who are completing their rural year in the townships of Puerto López and Puerto Claver, in El Bagre, Bajo Cauca, Antioquia, asked the State to guarantee their lives and that they not be forced to to go to health centers because they fear being left in the middle of the continuous clashes between armed groups.
It should be remembered that, at the beginning of this week, the body of a person who would have died in the middle of clashes between dissidents of the Farc and the Clan del Golfo was abandoned on the outskirts of the EI of the corregimiento of Puerto López, which sowed more terror in the population and led the school directors to schedule classes in a blended way.
“The students state that they are not willing to provide health services in the districts, They have even filed guardianship actions. We call on the authorities to guarantee security in our municipality, especially in the corregimientos of Puerto López and Puerto Claver”, indicated the representative of El Bagre, Juan Gabriel Rodríguez.
Added to this is the warning generated by the home gas supply company in these two corregimientos, who state that it will be interrupted if the public order situation does not improve.
