Today, Sunday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, confirmed reaching a joint action plan with Germany that would establish an economic partnership.
Al-Sudani told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The visit to Germany was fruitful, and we found a response from the German side,” noting that “the visit was previously prepared for it in terms of files.”
He pointed out that “understandings and a joint plan of action have been reached, which will definitely establish an economic partnership.”
Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani had paid a visit to Germany, where he met German Chancellor Olaf Schultz in the German capital, Berlin. He also met a number of officials in Germany, and a memorandum of understanding was prepared with the German company Siemens to increase energy production, improve transportation and distribution processes, and reduce waste.
