On Tuesday, August 27, our university’s “Tohoku Institute of Technology AI Education Program (applied basic level)” was certified as part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s 2024 “Mathematics, Data Science and AI Education Program Certification System (applied basic level).”
In the Tohoku Institute of Technology AI education program, students are required to take the “literacy level” course in their first year, and a considerable number of students complete the “applied basic level” program by their third year. Our university was already certified as part of the “Mathematics, Data Science, and AI Education Program Certification System (Literacy Level)” in August 2022.
