“Our sector is on the verge of a financial abyss”

Several dozen banana producers mobilized yesterday in front of the premises of the Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Forestry (DAAF), in Fort-de-France. On the verge of a financial abyss, they denounce the attitude of the State which has ignored them for a year now. They are demanding the same aid as that granted to other French agricultural sectors.
