“How will my children deal with the debt they owe?!” One of the affected people started talking to “Masrawy” and pointed out that her children were orphans and that they saw a “crying” woman in the exhibition , adding: “My children’s house is destroyed. What are my poor children going to do?”
Youssef Abdel Ati, a tenant of the land where the burned clothing exhibition was located in Banha, Qayubiya province, said he did not know the real reason behind the fire, but said there was a hidden secret behind the incident. Citing an interesting phenomenon, he said: “The exhibition will not just be full of passion, there must be people behind what happened.”
Yusef added to Masrawy that the fire broke out at 5 a.m. when no one was in the venue except for exhibition security, saying: “I demand a major investigation to find out who caused the destruction of our home.” ”.
Youssef continued: “My children and I live on the rent from that land, I have several daughters, two of them are in college, one is in business school, and the youngest has… My house was destroyed .
It is worth noting that a large-scale fire broke out at a clothing exhibition in front of the Banha Public Parking Lot in Banha City, causing heavy material losses. Fire trucks and ambulances rushed to the fire scene to control the situation and prevent the fire from happening. The prosecutor’s office ordered the assignment of a forensic laboratory to determine the cause of the fire, inventory the damage caused by the fire, and the Benha City Council to form a committee to find out the cause.
Subsequently, the Governor of Khayoubia Province, Engineer Ayman Attia, visited the scene of the Banha clothing showroom fire today (Monday) to determine the circumstances of the accident and reassure the affected shop owners.
The governor was accompanied by Secretary-General Major General Ihab Hassan Serragaldin and Banha Mayor Major General Tariq Maher.
The governor directed the General Directorate of Civil Protection and Social Solidarity and the City Council to set up a committee to investigate the cause of the fire and direct the provision of appropriate compensation to shop owners affected by the fire.
The governor stressed the need to inventory all similar exhibitions in the province to ensure they meet safety and security conditions and take necessary measures to prevent such incidents from happening again.
