A member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, Deputy Raed Berro, accompanied by the official of Hezbollah in Byblos and Kesrouan, Sheikh Hussein Shamas, visited the Saint Maron Monastery in Annaya, and met the Abbot of the monastery, Abbot Tannous Nehme in his office.
Berro stressed “the importance of communication between the people of the Byblos district,” noting that “this visit comes in the context of closing the doors to fishermen in troubled waters,” stressing that “Lebanon is a homeland for all its children, and its enemies from abroad do not want it well.”
For his part, Abbot Nehme welcomed MP Berro, stressing the “importance of the historical ties that unite Saint Maron Monastery with its neighbors,” stressing “the need to preserve these good relations,” and appreciating the role of Representative Berro, “who always seeks to strengthen ties between all components of the Jbeilian society.”
