Films released this week on various OTT platforms
OTT New Malayalam Release: Saiju Kurup and Priyanka Nair’s Anthakshari ‘will be released on April 22 on OTT. The movie will be streamed on Sony Live and the movie has no theatrical list.
After Muthugau, Antakshari will be directed by Vipindas. The hint is that this is a thriller movie. Other prominent actors are Vijay Babu, Sudhi Koppa, Binu Pappu and Shabarish Varma.
Presented by Jeethu Joseph, the film is produced by Al Jassam Abdul Jabbar under the banner of Sultan Brothers Entertainment. Music by Ankit Menon, Editor by Johnkutty, Creative Director by Nitish Sahadev, PRO by Sabari.
Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi gets OTT release date: ആലിയയുടെ ഗംഗുഭായ് ഒടിടിയിലേക്ക്
Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubhai Kathyavadi’ to ODT. The film will be streamed on Netflix on April 26.
‘Gangubhai Kathyavadi’, which hit theaters in February, was well received. In a chapter in his book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’, S. Hussain Syed describes the life of Gangubhai Katyawadi, who worked for the upliftment of women and orphans in the red light district of Mumbai, Kamathipura. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The film revolves around Ganguly, who is forced into prostitution and later becomes a powerful figure in Kamathipura, Mumbai’s Red Street. Gangubhai is played by Alia Bhatt. Apart from Alia, the film also stars Ajay Devgn, Vijay Ras and Jim Sarba.
