Other People’s Games at the Barry Theatre

Other People’s Games at the Barry Theatre

The Panhellenic Network for Theater in Education in collaboration with DI.PE.THE. Patras presents the play Other People’s Games, on Saturday 12 October 2024, at 6.00pm & 8.00pm, at the Barry Theatre.

It is the story of two boys who live the horrors of war. One lives the horror inside the concentration camp and the other the consequences of this horror outside the camp. They live in two worlds so different yet so similar. Through their eyes, the viewer experiences the loss, the fear, but also the hope that emerges from their humanity, vision and resilience, while promoting hope for peace. This story knows no nationalities and no time. It is still answered today in the here and now…

The performance also concerns schools and is accompanied by a Theatropedagogical Program offered free of charge by the Panhellenic Network for Theater in Education, with exercises and activities that lead to a multidimensional experiential learning experience that touches both the mind and the heart of the students.
