Actress Samyukta said that the other actors who acted in the film Boomerang also did not come for the promotion.
In an interview to Kaumudi Movies, Samyukta said that the allegation came only regarding him and it is a lesson to plan films well.
‘On the same day as Boomerang, another film I had committed to was having a promotional event. I didn’t know you were holding a press meet.
After this, on my way back home, my friends called and texted me and asked me if I knew regarding this on social media.
After regarding five minutes I realized that this was something I shouldn’t have seen.
I called the producer of the film. Then they got a little more clarity. There is no problem between us.
Actor Biju Chetan was the only one who spoke clearly regarding this.
Other actors who were a part of that movie did not come. But more people said regarding me.
I apologize for my absence there. But it is a lesson to plan everything well.
The actor added that he mightn’t handle switching between dates.
‘At that time nothing would have been in my hands. There were three dates in January and February. When all the three dates were being changed, I mightn’t control it,’ said Samyukta.
There was a controversy when Samyukta did not come for the promotion of Boomerang. Actor Shine Tom Chacko and the producer of the film had said that he did not make it to the joint promotion and said that he would not act in Malayalam films once more.
