“This is our biggest year, a record year for the festival since its inception! We have two sold-out days. It also shows that the brand is getting younger,” said Nick Farkas, founder of Osheaga and vice-president of concerts and events at Evenko.
Despite a headliner to be replaced at short notice – “Charlotte confirmed in less than five hours, a miracle, and she really released a completely different show from what she had accustomed us to”, underlines Mr. Farkas in press briefing — this 16th edition proved to be a real success for the organizers.

Big favorite of thousands of festival-goers!
The intense and dynamic New York electro duo offered a colorful performance on Saturday, commensurate with what we were entitled to expect from this talented man. Not only were Sofi and Tukker – and their four dynamic dancers – more than excellent, they literally had fun while striving on a stage with a park-like decor with synthetic turf and play modules. ‘children !
Sofi, Sexy and flamboyant behind her electric guitar, and Tukker, sporting a bib displaying Wetevoking the name of their latest album Wet Tennis, we make the crowd dance intensely and get up from the first notes of Drinkee. Their performance combining pop and electro, full of humor, playful games and a groove has never ceased to make the huge crowd massed in front of the two stages dance on both Best Friend, Summer in New York what Batshit. Big, big success!
Very nice idea to resume what they do in the room, the broadcast on the screen of a scoreboard, thus making the crowd compete in terms of noises, cries and participation with the score obtained by the crowd during the Chicago’s Lollapalooza Festival. Immediate effect guaranteed!

Accompanied by a guitarist and a drummer, the endearing Australian duo offered a very nice concert at the end of the day on Sunday. A magical moment for them, Montreal “being their favorite city in the world” and performing there for the first time their indie-folk universe.
Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins have drawn from their various albums, interpreting the very folk Momentsthe title track of their latest album, Blessings, or We Will Run from their very first album released in 2017, Wanderlust. Several parts including Borderlines and the very beautiful Coastline (recorded in Montreal and heard a lot on social media stories) made you want to go to roadtrip immediately

You had to be daring to introduce this cult veteran band to an audience that is getting younger and younger and who don’t know the eccentric universe of the Oklahoma band. But amateurs and followers were more than delighted! Led by the whimsical Coyne, the group offered the entire album Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots in a flamboyant performance with inflatable pink robots, costumes, gigantic balloons and confetti.
Billie Eilish

The level of performance of the young prodigy was certainly revealed at the same level of the enthusiasm of her fans: immense! Beyond being a real phenomenon with her magnificent voice, Eilish was extremely touching (What Was I Made For? ; I Love You)fabulously exploded (You Should See Me in a Crown) and energetic (Oxytocin ; Bad Guy).

Of BBBLUE to the dancing Faded, the Quebec electro-pop duo came to offer their rich, soaring and bewitching universe on Sunday followingnoon with their superb harmonies. Special mention to Laurence Lafond-Beaulne who struggled to dance on stage, despite having to wear an orthosis.
