OSCE reports over 3,000 ceasefire violations in eastern Ukraine

Observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) reported this Monday that over 3,000 ceasefire violations in the East of Ukraine, where the line of contact between government troops and pro-Russian separatist militias.

The OSCE international observer mission on the ground (SMM) recorded in the Donetsk region, between Saturday followingnoon and last Sunday, 2,158 violations of the ceasefire, including 1,100 explosions. In Luhansk, in the same time period, they reported 1,073 violations, including 926 explosions. These figures are much higher than the average number of incidents recorded in the last seven days.
