Major League Soccer has been in charge of surprising its fans year following year with the arrival of world-class figures. In the specific case of Orlando City, this franchise has had elements such as Nani, Júlio Baptista or ‘Kaká’ among its ranks and currently has the renowned striker Alexandre Pato on its squad.
Óscar Pareja, Orlando City strategist, did not close the door on the arrival of other figures to this institution and even mentioned that compatriots such as James Rodríguez or Radamel Falcao are welcome to the MLS purple box, although he specified that it would be difficult to direct them right now because of the wage issue.
“Good players will always be welcome in teams of one and much more so if they are compatriots, even more so if they are players who have had such success and who are so representative for the people. It would be wonderful to be able to have a player like James or Falcao, (but) it’s not that easy because they are already very strong players financially.”, he pointed out in an interview with AS USA.
