The 94th Oscars begin to be announced. Ariano Debos won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in West Side Story. Troy Coatser also won the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in Koda. Troy is also the first deaf actor to win an Oscar. The awards ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Power of the Dog and Dune topped the list of nominees.

Best Music (Original), Best Sound (Mac Ruth, Mark Mankini, Dio Green, Doug Hemphill, Ron Bartlett), Best Editing (Joe Walker), Best Production Design, Best Cinematography (Greg Fraser), Best Visual Effect (Paul Lambert, Dune won the Oscars for Tristan Miles, Brian Connor and Jared Nefser.
