Located 100 miles off the Yorkshire coast, the future wind farm, due to be completed towards the end of 2027, is expected to be able to provide electricity to more than 3.3 million homes.

Ørsted currently operates 12 offshore wind farms in the UK, including Hornsea 1 and 2. Competitive prices
In addition, the majority of contracts related to the Hornsea 3 investments were signed before the recent price increases due to inflation, allowing competitive prices to be achieved, said Ørsted, who recently had to give up to a huge offshore wind farm project in the United States.
