Orlando very cash on the flop of L’hôtel du temps with Dalida (VIDEO)

Bad luck or bad scores? This is the question that Thierry Ardisson was able to land while watching the audiences of his new show called hotel of time, the day following its release. Ranked 4th of the evening, the program, broadcast last May, gathered only 1.4 million, for the first issue, or 6.8% of market share. Its principle was nevertheless convincing: to revive a missing personality for the duration of a long interview with the host broadcast as a bonus. For its launch, France 3 and the presenter bet on the unforgettable singer Dalida. A long work then began, in order to give it a second life. Efforts hailed by many Internet users who have been “taped by actress – including the face, gestures and voice have been artificially reworked – but not enough, according to Orlandothe star’s brother.

The 86-year-old musician still supports this project, as he explains in At Jordan’s : “Thierry Ardisson had already filmed [l’interview avec] John Gabin. Upon arrival, when filming ended (…), the channel did not want to start the series with Gabin, but with Dalida (…). This show is a revolution, like many things that Thierry has done, but there is something regarding it that bothers his colleagues and people“, considers the producer who wanted to pay tribute to his sister on the occasion of the thirty-fifth anniversary of her death.

A failure in France, a future success elsewhere

And The hotel of time is already off the air, for an obvious reason, according to Orlando: “I left the field open to Thierry and the public was not yet ready for this kind of programs. But you will see that the second will work very well. (…) It did not have a very strong market share, it worked moderately (…), because people were afraid to look, maybe the word death was scary”, he quickly eludes before making a big revelation. “The United States bought the concept, they are going to do Marylin Monroe (among others). The program on Dalida will be broadcast worldwide. Thierry has just signed a contract!“rejoices the man with glasses, convinced that the next episodes will work better. The future will tell us!
