There’s still more than a month before the start of the next regular season, but some franchises know how to heat us up. This is the case for example of the Orlando Magic, which has just unveiled its “Classic” jersey for the 2023-24 campaign.
“In the O, there is a new kind of magic in the air.”
These are the words spoken by Tracy McGrady to present the “Classic” jerseys that the Florida team will wear this year. Jerseys which will be worn by a very promising new generation (Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Co), but which will above all pay homage to the past, and more precisely to the T-Mac era.

These jerseys immediately take us back to the early 2000s, when Tracy McGrady was maddening the scorers under the star-spangled tunic of the Magic. The Orlando franchise actually wore its jerseys from 1998 to 2003, a period characterized by four Playoff qualifications but also four eliminations in the first round. Not the most transcendent era in Magic history then, but on the other hand we 100% validate the return of these really stylish jerseys.
