Orlando Arcia hit a two-run homer as the Atlanta Braves lost 3-2 to the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday in Major League Baseball.

Arcia, a native of Anaco, Anzoategui state, hit a home run in left field at Truist Park off Aaron Nolan. The hit came in the fourth inning and represented a 2-0 partial in favor of the locals.

However, Atlanta’s pitching could not hold on to the lead and the “Quakers” scored two runs in the sixth inning and one more in the eighth to take the win.

Both teams occupy the first two spots in the American League East Division, although Philadelphia is in first place with a record of 74-52 and seven games ahead of the Braves (67-59).

On a personal level, Orlando Arcia reached 12 home runs this season. For the Anzoategui native, this is the fourth season out of nine in the Majors in which he has hit more than 10 home runs.

The shortstop also has 36 RBIs, 35 runs scored, 96 hits and has an average of .226.
