THE PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 organizing committee has prepared 7,500 tickets each day for the final four matches taking place at the Bung Tomo Sports Hall in Surabaya, East Java, July 4-7.
Deputy Director of Proliga and Chair of the Organizing Committee Reginald Nelwan in a press conference at the Bung Tomo GOR Surabaya, Wednesday followingnoon, said that the committee only sold tickets online consisting of two categories, namely VIP and regular.
“Volleyball fans can buy tickets through the website proliga.co.id. There are no offline ticket sales. VIP tickets are prepared 500 sheets at a price of Rp300,000 per sheet and regular tickets are prepared 7,000 sheets at a price of Rp150,000 per sheet,” said Regi, his nickname, as reported by BetweenWednesday (3/7).
The 2024 Proliga quarter-finals will be held in two rounds, one at the Bung Tomo Sports Hall in Surabaya and the second round at the Jati Diri Sports Hall in Semarang on July 11-14.
Regi said that the determination of Surabaya City as the host of the final four might not be separated from the support of the local city government which had long hoped that the professional volleyball competition in the country might return to the City of Heroes.
Surabaya last hosted Proliga in the 2010 season at GOR Kertajaya. At that time, there were two teams from Surabaya that took part, namely the Surabaya Bank Jatim women’s team and the Surabaya Samator men’s team.

“Initially we planned to do it at DBL Arena, but at the same time that venue was being used, then the Gelora Pancasila Sports Hall also might not be used. Thanks to the support of the Mayor (Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi), we were finally able to use the Bung Tomo Sports Hall,” said Regi.
According to him, the enthusiasm of volleyball fans in Surabaya and its surrounding areas, such as Gresik, Lamongan, and Sidoarjo is quite high. Moreover, the teams competing in the final four have good quality.
In the men’s sector, there are defending champions Jakarta LavAni Allobank Electric, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi, Jakarta STIN BIN, and Palembang Bank SumselBabel. Meanwhile, in the women’s sector, there are Jakarta Popsivo Polwan, Jakarta BIN, Jakarta Pertamina Enduro, and Jakarta Electric PLN.

“Almost in every city that hosts the regular round, the audience’s enthusiasm is very high. Moreover, this is the final four round where the competition is much fiercer,” he added.
The match between the Jakarta BIN women’s team and Jakarta Pertamina Enduro opened the quarter-finals.
