With a mobile message all citizens will soon be asked if they want to become organ donors, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis announced today, speaking at the DYPA event entitled “Strengthening Greece with Skills for a Sustainable Future”.
Among other things, he said:
“We have decided to create an application that we will send via gov.gr to citizens’ mobile phones, in which we will ask them if they accept to become solid body organ donors.
Those who accept will automatically be able to download the app to have the volunteer donor’s card on their mobile phone, so that it is known to everyone that this person wants to be a solid organ donor.
