The people of Vorarlberg donated around 450,000 euros to the emergency aid fund and the Mäder school home
Vienna (OTS) – The strong solidarity of the people of Vorarlberg for a good cause is once again reflected in the impressive donation result for “LIGHT IN THE DARK”. A sum of around 450,000 euros has so far been raised as part of various initiatives in Vorarlberg.
Three and a half hours of live TV
The ORF Landesfunkhaus Vorarlberg in Dornbirn was the focus of the “LIGHT IN THE DARK” television programs on ORF 2 V over the Christmas weekend. On December 23rd and 24th, ORF Vorarlberg broadcast a festive three-and-a-half-hour special program to raise donations for “LIGHT IN THE DARK”. to collect. The live broadcasts were moderated by Kerstin Polzer and David Breznik.
Unique donation day on ORF Radio Vorarlberg
As part of a large donation day organized by ORF Radio Vorarlberg in favor of “LIGHT IN THE DARK” on November 30, 2023, the listeners and numerous major donors from the Vorarlberg economy have already made a great donation result of 269,713 euros possible. The three-and-a-half-hour TV programs brought in additional donations, which this year brought a total of around 450,000 euros for “LIGHT INTO THE DUNKEL” from ORF Vorarlberg.
Emergency aid fund and Mäder school home
The donations for “LIGHT IN THE DARK” in Vorarlberg this year will benefit the emergency aid fund for families and children in need as well as the Mäder school home. In the Mäder school home, around 70 children and young people with physical and severe multiple disabilities receive educational, therapeutic and medical support in their development.
