ORF Radio Vienna: In memory of Willi Resetarits, who died a year ago

On April 24th with his most popular hits and the program “Trost und Rat” to listen to once more

Vienna (OTS) – In memory of the artist and humanist Willi Resetarits, on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 5:00 a.m., Radio Vienna will first review the early years in which Resetarits became the cult figure “Ostbahn Kurti”. In addition to a detailed portrait, there will also be excerpts from the interview with Willi Resetarits that Radio Vienna music expert Tommy Vitera recorded just a few weeks before his death. Friends and companions such as Birgit Denk or concert organizer Erich Schindlecker have their say in the show. It was also Schindlecker who was responsible for the legendary “class reunions” on the Kaiserwiese in Vienna’s Prater.

Radio Vienna presenter Sascha Boctor, who was then the editor responsible for the program “Trost und Rat”, tells Schnurren regarding the origins of the programs. And: One of these “Trost und Rat” programs (from January 1996) will then be available to listen to once more at the end between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Radio Wien.
