In addition to the work of musicologists on the manuscripts and the sources, performers – renowned musicians on this repertoire – make up a reading committee which brings its knowledge and experience to the questions raised by the analysis of the sources. Revised editions of the Ravel Edition are currently played by over 60 orchestras in 14 countries around the world.
