Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited former US President Donald Trump at his estate in Florida. After the conversation, the guest expressed confidence that Trump will ensure peace in Ukraine.
Immediately following his participation in NATO’s anniversary summit in Washington, Viktor Orbán travelled on to Florida, where he was received by former – and, according to the Hungarian Prime Minister’s openly expressed hope, future – US President Donald Trump. Orbán himself spoke of a “peace mission 5.0”, referring to the previous stops in Kyiv, Moscow, Susa and Beijing. (It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister takes into account the informal summit of the Turkic states in Azerbaijan, but not participation in the NATO summit.)

“We have talked regarding peace (in Ukraine/ Anm. d. Red.). The good news of the day is: He will make sure of it!” – Orbán subsequently wrote on social media. His press office also emphasized the prime minister’s role in the six-month period of Hungary’s EU Council Presidency. Trump also thanked Orbán via social media for his commitment to peace and also reaffirmed his personal determination to bring regarding peace.
Trump had previously received Orbán at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The main focus was on the realignment of the conservatives and their global unification once morest the “progressive-liberal” forces.
