Hello Laurence, you have chosen your day well since the conditions should be almost optimal for a barbecue. After two rather summery days, Monday and Tuesday, the high should resist on Wednesday with the mercury dropping by one degree at worst. Lots of sunshine in the morning then a few veils of cirrus drifting from the west without consequences. It should be rather warm with 26 to 27°C under shelter. The moderate westerly wind will be good before a slight cooling in the evening when the sky will tend to become cloudy from the west. However, it will remain dry and therefore ideal to enjoy without suffocating. Have fun everyone!
And on the rest of the country this Monday?
A week which starts in the best possible way under the sun which will quickly dissipate the phenomena of low layers (especially in Flanders and in the east). However, our country remains on the sidelines of the high temperatures which will affect the south of France (still 39-41°C in the shade locally). So I’m expecting a nice morning with lots of sunshine or even a blue sky even if it might take a little time to dissipate if thick fogs.
In the followingnoon, wide clearings through a thin veil of cirrus and cumulus fields more present in the provinces of Liège, Namur and Luxembourg. The maxima will be globally stationary thanks to the northwest wind, keeping the heat in the south and so much the better! We will reach 26 to 28°C in the center of the country and locally 29-30°C in Gaume thanks to its more southern location. In the evening, the freshness will settle rather quickly but it will remain very nice.
