American star Oprah Winfrey was spotted helping people affected by the devastating fires in Hawaii.

In a video shared on social media, the host and producer can be seen handing out makeshift beds, pillows and various items to residents gathered at a shelter in Wailuku.

Oprah Winfrey also spent time speaking with several victims in order to comfort them.

The 69-year-old owns two properties on the island of Maui worth several million dollars each. It inhabits the Pacific archipelago for part of the year.
