“Opportunity Economy”: Kamala Harris Promotes Expanding the U.S. Tax Credit

Sociologist Nikhil Goyal, author of the book “Live to See the Day: Coming of Age in American Poverty,” notes that Harris’ support for policies like expanding the child tax credit shows a stark contrast between her and Republican candidate Donald Trump. “His fight is for the billionaire class,” while Harris is “on the side of working people,” Goyal says.
