Oppo Reno 9 specs leak long before official launch

The Oppo brand offers several series of smartphones including the Reno which constitute the mid-range. While the Oppo Reno8 series is currently available, it seems that the manufacturer is in the process of finalizing the successors. Several technical characteristics of the Reno 9 seem known and of which here are all the details.

According to several sources, it seems that the series of smartphones Oppo Reno 9 is being finalized and some people think it might be officially launched by the end of the year at least for the Chinese market. It must continue on the same line as the Reno8 which want to offer one of the best quality/price ratios on the market with a design that is as successful as possible. For this, according to the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, it seems that the Reno 9 has a configuration that evolves slightly compared to the current model.
According to Digital Chat Station, which benefits from a very good track record, the Oppo Reno 9 would carry the model number PHM110. It would be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display which would display a definition of 1080×2412 pixels with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. It would of course be possible to have a lower frequency in order to save battery and thus obtain greater autonomy. The smartphone would be powered by a processeur Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus that we find on the Nothing phone (1)the Motorola edge30 where the Honor 70, for example. This chip would be accompanied by 12 GB of RAM which is very important for a mid-range device. Normally, such a RAM capacity is rather reserved for high-end models. It should, in addition, be able to count on an Extended RAM function which makes it possible to draw on the storage memory to make virtual RAM and thus increase the buffering capacities and therefore the fluidity of the smartphone to navigate between the apps and run them.

What configuration for photos and videos?

According to the same source, the Oppo Reno 9 smartphone would be equipped with a 64 megapixel main photo sensor which has already proven itself on other brand mobiles and other manufacturers, notably at OnePlus or realme, for example. It will most certainly be accompanied by at least one or even two other objectives. For selfiesthe forecaster thinks he knows that there would be a 32 megapixel sensora Sony IMX709 already used in the Reno8 series.

A battery with the same capacity but slower to charge?

Still according to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Reno 9 would have a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh with the possibility of supporting a load of up to 67 watts. Remember that the Reno8 can support up to 80 watts, which would therefore be a regression on the part of the brand on the new model. Of course, this remains to be confirmed. Oppo might have been called upon to make choices between the battery and the quality of the screen which, in the first case, represents a step backwards but in the second an important progression. It is quite possible that the brand preferred to highlight a very nice screen even if it means lowering the power supported by the battery which at 67 watts can be more than enough for a fairly fast charge despite everything, the difference with a battery supporting the 80 watts not being that significant. We will have confirmation or not of these elements during the official presentation which might be soon. The Oppo Reno 9 series will most certainly be made up of several models including the Reno 9 Prothe Reno 9 Pro+.
