Oppo continues its triumphant march in the highly competitive smartphone market. The Chinese unveiled its new generation of foldable smartphones on Thursday. The Find N2, will succeed in the Middle Kingdom to the first model of this kind launched by the Chinese while the Find N2 Flip becomes the first foldable smartphone from the manufacturer.
The Find N2 Flip is the result of three years of development. It offers the largest external display on a flip smartphone and all-day battery life thanks to its 4,300 mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip, according to a Press release.
Oppo takes care of aesthetics
Oppo insisted during its presentation on the flexible hinge of 2e generation that would allow the internal screen not to be penalized by an excessively unsightly fold. The manufacturer also claims to have a good quality photographic experience. This flagship should arrive in most European countries in the first quarter of 2023.
On the Chinese market, the Oppo Find N2 succeeds the Find N, the manufacturer’s first foldable smartphone launched last year. With a weight of 233 grams, the black version in vegan leather is positioned rather favorably on the brand’s historic market. It is also only 14.6 mm thick when closed.
A strategic market
Oppo is working hard. “Folding smartphones are among our most strategic products. With the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip, our first clamshell model, Oppo confidently enters the heart of a constantly evolving market. We will continue to invest in folding devices and look forward to bringing them to more users around the world,” said Billy Zhang, President of Sales.
My comment? Once once more Oppo shows that it is positioned among the most innovative manufacturers, since very big brands have not yet launched any foldable model. With this second generation, it further demonstrates its technological know-how and its desire to differentiate itself, for example by using a MediaTek chip or carbon fiber. Follow very closely!
