OPPO’s new line of foldable smartphones has not yet been launched globally, but the company is already working on devices that should succeed the Find N2 and N2 Flip.
According to information gathered in the Chinese giant’s supply chain, the OPPO Find N3 is already in an advanced stage of development and everything indicates that it should have considerable improvements in its cameras.
An example of this is that the foldable must have a lens with periscope sensor to ensure up to 10 times optical zoom.
The integration of this lens into the Find N3 is OPPO’s response to the use of this type of camera in other top-of-the-line devices, and the company is keeping an eye on Huawei’s move. For those who don’t remember, rumors indicate that the Mate X3 will also have a periscope lens.
The OPPO Find N3 does not yet have a release date, but its number is “PHN110” and soon it will begin to be certified by various regulatory agencies. Generally, the first to publish the preliminary form is the traditional 3C.
As for the specifications we should expect for this foldable, rumors indicate that it should retain the 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. In addition, the processor can be upgraded to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the main camera will remain at 50 MP.
Finally, the Chinese manufacturer must still deliver several design refinements, including even an update on the hinge so that the Find N3 has an even smoother closure.
