‘Oppenheimer’ hit the box office… Soon to reach 1 million

Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ is expected to hit the box office in earnest in its first weekend following its release.
According to the integrated computer network for movie theater tickets on the 18th, ‘Oppenheimer’ gathered 118,000 viewers the day before and kept the top spot at the box office for the third day. Its share of sales is 39.4%.
The movie, which took first place with its release on the 15th, recorded a cumulative audience of 818,000 until the previous day, and it is certain that it will break through 1 million sooner or later.
Directed by Uhm Tae-hwa and starring Lee Byung-hun, ‘Concrete Utopia’ was in second place with 80,000 viewers (23.9% of sales share) the previous day. The cumulative number of viewers for this movie, which was released on the 9th, is 2.31 million.
Director Lee Han’s comic romance ‘Sweet Sea: 7510’ (38,000 people, 11.3%) and director Ryoo Seung-wan’s ‘Smuggling’ (30,000 people, 9.0%) are following behind. Disney/Pixar’s animation ‘Elemental’ (16,000 people, 4.9%) is showing its back, keeping the 5th place even following two months since its release.
As of this morning, ‘Oppenheimer’ is also in first place with 59.6% of the reservation rate.
‘Concrete Utopia’ (14.5%), ‘Sweet Sea: 7510’ (8.3%), and ‘Smuggling’ (4.0%) ranked 2nd to 4th, and ‘Guardian’ (3.5%), directed and starred by Jung Woo-sung, ranked 5th. up
