Asunción, IP Agency.- Within the framework of operation “Talión”, which investigates the criminal organization led by Felipe Acosta, alias “Macho”, 3,798 kilograms of pressed and chopped marijuana were seized; a Toyota Hilux truck, a car of the same brand and various documents, generating a loss of more than USD 560,000, considering the value of the cargo in the Brazilian market, the main destination for illicit products.
The interventions were carried out in two homes located in the district of Yby Pytã, a town known as 1,500, department of Canindeyú. It was carried out by special agents from the National Anti-Drug Secretariat and the Sensitive Investigation Group, in coordination with personnel from SAP-5 of the Joint Task Force and the Public Ministry.
At the time of the procedure, no people were found in the place, however, the operational action managed to cause another blow to the structure led by “Macho.”
The interveners handled information about some homes that served as a logistics and drug collection base for the aforementioned structure. The raids led to the seizure of a total of 3,798 kilograms of pressed and chopped marijuana, respectively, which were inside one of the properties and inside a Toyota Hilux truck, Senad reports.
