Operation Litoral in Sonsonate results in the capture of seven MS13 gang members 2024-02-21 00:58:36

Through the coordinated work between the National Civil Police (PNC) and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), they carried out “Operation Litoral” in Sonsonate, resulting in the capture of seven MS13 gang members, from the Hollywood program.

According to the information detailed by the Minister of Security, Gustavo Villatoro, the detainees respond to the names of: Julio Enrique Tobar Cea, Guillermo Antonio García Zuna, José Rodrigo Ávila Campos, Ronal Ernesto Martínez Ascencio, Lázaro Isaac Reyes Osorio, Bessy Madai Ordóñez and José Leonel Marín Alberto.

The group of criminals will be prosecuted for the crimes of illicit groups, aggravated extortion, and conspiracies and criminal associations, who will join 97 other gang members who are already in prison and are related to the cases charged to these individuals.
